Information for Schools

The Newfoundland Insectarium's traveling display has visited hundreds of schools in eastern Canada and has given thousands of students a first-hand look at the fascinating world of insects and arachnids. The display is complemented by a presentation that introduces insects and describes how they survive and adapt to their surroundings. Students have a chance to ask questions and explore the exhibits. They can even get up close with a few friendly stick insects, millipedes, and scorpions.
